Biography:
Dr. Ioannis Agadakos is an Assistant Professor in Cybersecurity at Montclair State University's School of Computing. He earned his PhD in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology (2019), focusing on Internet of Things (IoT), system security and their intersection with Artificial Intelligence. Previously, he served as an Applied Scientist at Amazon Web Services and held positions at Northeastern University and SRI International. Dr. Agadakos has authored over 20 peer-reviewed publications in premier venues and holds 2 US patents. His research focuses on Agentic AI Systems, IoT applications, privacy engineering, with a focus on building robust and reliable AI-driven systems.
