Biography:
Professor Dr. Mohammad Kamil, M.Sc.; M.Phil.; Ph.D.; D.Sc.; Chartered Chemist(U.K.) and Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (London), has worked in various capacities. As In-charge Drug Standardization lab. CCRUM, Ministry of Health -India, Professor at Hamdard University, India; Professor & Head, Department of Pharmacognostic Sciences, Zayed Complex for Herbal Research & Traditional. Medicine, Ministry of Health, UAE (1996-2010); Head TCAM Research at Department of Health, Abu Dhabi (2010-2020). Presently working as Director General, Lotus Holistic Healthcare Institute, Abu Dhabi, UAE since 2021. He is heading the Scientific Committee for the International TCAM Awards and Organizing Secretary for TCIM-2026.
Recipient of many honours and awards viz. recipient of Young Scientist Award( India), Hakim Ajmal Khan Global Award (2013); Focal Point and Expert, WHO –(2007-2022). Aqs-e-Mohar -Nabwi (Pakistan); Sheikh Zayed International Award in Traditional Herbal Research (2020).Produced 30 Ph.D. and M.Phil. students, besides guiding a huge number of M. Sc. dissertations and 40 Interns. More than 800 research papers with more than 10,000 citations are at his credit.Editor of a couple of Journals besides member of Editorial Board and Reviewer of many Journals.
