Biography:
Dr. Mohd Nazri Abdul Rahman is a Senior Lecturer, Registered Nutritionist and Professional Technologist in Food Technology. He holds a BSc (UMS), MSc (UKM), and PhD in Nutritional Biochemistry (UPM), and has served Universiti Malaysia Sabah since 2009. With expertise in functional foods and metabolic nutrition, his research targets anti-obesity and anti-diabetic mechanisms of Momordica cochinchinensis carotenoids and kombucha fermentation. Dr. Nazri has led multiple competitive grants and is actively engaged in NSM, MASO, NADI, MDES, MSHR, MaSSH, American Society of Nutrition (ASN), also serves as a Diabetes Lifestyle Advocate, reflecting his strong commitment to nutrition research and education.
