Healthcare Providers are essential in encouraging and improving tobacco cessation through behavioural and pharmacological interventions. However, their success rates depend on their knowledge, attitude, and practices (KAP) of tobacco cessation interventions and treatments. The study aimed to assess the KAP of Healthcare Providers in 5 major hospitals in Plateau State regarding tobacco cessation and its impact on satiety. A cross-sectional survey will be carried out among 150 participants and the data from their completed questionnaires will be curated. Further findings on the knowledge and practices will be seen as the work progresses.
