Biography:
Dr. Tafere G. Belay is an Associate Professor of Nutritional Sciences at the Department of Health Sciences, Central Washington University, USA. He teaches undergraduate and graduate nutrition courses and conducts research on micronutrient deficiencies, maternal and child nutrition, and food insecurity. He holds a PhD and MS in Nutritional Sciences from Oklahoma State University. His current work includes studies using the NHANES dataset to advance understanding of nutrition-related health outcomes.
